Pediatric physiotherapy

Pediatric physiotherapy focuses on the assessment, prevention and treatment of movement disorders and motor development difficulties in newborns, children and adolescents. The therapeutic pathway aims to promote harmonious motor development, improve functional abilities and support autonomy through targeted activities, therapeutic play and interventions adapted to the child’s age and capabilities.

Benefits

This area is particularly indicated in the presence of neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, neuromuscular diseases, psychomotor delays or complications related to prematurity; orthopedic issues including congenital clubfoot, positional plagiocephaly, scoliosis or alterations in posture and gait; respiratory conditions such as bronchiolitis, cystic fibrosis or recurrent airway infections. It is also beneficial in cases of delayed motor development, for example when crawling, walking or other milestones are not achieved within expected timeframes.
